I hope we all enjoyed our Halloween as much as I enjoyed mine or more so—though I'm sure any of you will be able to top the level of happiness I reach by being able to talk to and hang out with the people from my favorite band of all time who everyone should listen to all the time on repeat forever. But I'm sure whatever you did was cool too.
This week is our open mic! It's Thursday, from 12:30-2 in the Woody Tanger Auditorium! Come hang out! I'm going to play a song, which none of you have to listen to if you're so inclined, and the rest of us interns and a great collection of artists will perform their hearts for you. It'll be great! And it's not too late to sign up if you want to read! Exclamation points!
On a less excited note, don't forget to pop into 3416 to check out all the writing contests that I spent more time than I'll admit making a nice display for! A bunch of deadlines just passed with October 31st, but there are plenty of contests eagerly awaiting your piece!
I hope everyone enjoys their week this week—and if you get a hankering for more open mic performances, on November 9th (SundaySundaySunday) I'll be helping run one out of La Crepe a la Vie, just a few blocks away from the school. It would start around 6.
Happy November! (What an unexcited month next to October, wow.)
